Rangers or Astros

TEXAS RANGERS!!!  Both teams have terrible pitching, with the exception of Oswalt, but the Rangers have a better line-up.

rangers no doubt....and dont get me wrong i love the astros....just looking at how they have been playing lately i couldnt see them having a better record....but i think the second half will be a MUCH different situation!

I am a fan of both teams, but I still think that the Astros will have a better record. The Astros pitching has been adequate with a ERA of 4.2 just above the league average of 4.11. While the Rangers ERA is 5.33, no reason to expect the Rangers pitching to improve. Also, as poorly as the Astros are hitting at .241 the Rangers are at .234. These reason plus the fact that I believe the Angels, and the A's make the schedule for the Rangers more difficult.

Yeah....the Rangers could even have a better record, but not in playoff contention. As weak as the NL Central is....a .500 record could win!
