Crawford Posted December 31, 2018 Report Posted December 31, 2018 This will be only the second time that these two teams have met in the playoffs. The last time was in '06 @ Seattle. Also a wild card game. It ended with Romo fumbling the snap for a potential game winning field goal. Seahawks won 21-20. A game that most of us Cowboy fans would like to forget. I would like to see the Cowboys come into this game with a lot of attitude and win this thing. baddog 1 Quote

STiger85 Posted January 3, 2019 Report Posted January 3, 2019 I like Dallas at home, maybe setting them starters last week will prove to be good. That Wilson guy though, he’s pretty good. mat and Crawford 2 Quote
navydawg31 Posted January 3, 2019 Report Posted January 3, 2019 Dallas will get pressure to the QB, the thing is they live and die by the deep ball. If Dallas can defend that I like our chances a lot. I don’t think Seattle will be able to run very well on Dallas with there poor play on the line Crawford 1 Quote
mat Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 Dak will be under pressure. I hope he handles it well. Quote
Crawford Posted January 5, 2019 Author Report Posted January 5, 2019 I'm not sure how old all of you are, but there was a time back in the 70’s where it was just expected that Dallas would be in the playoffs every year and compete for the SB. The losses were hard to cope with. Us Cowboy fans have been let down for so long now that we have learned to cope with losing. We aren’t confident in Dallas winning any game much less a playoff game. I know for me, I feel like they can beat Seattle, but in the back of my mind, I’m hesitant guaranteeing a win like I use to. I think lots of us think something will happen that will cost them the game. I will say I was encouraged how they won that game last Sunday. You can say, well that was the Giants, and the game shouldn’t have been close, but that was two teams that had nothing to play for and both teams played their rears off. mat 1 Quote
Crawford Posted January 5, 2019 Author Report Posted January 5, 2019 From 1966 to 1988, Cowboys were in the playoffs, 17 out of 22 years. Three of those missed appearances, was Landry's last three seasons he coached. Quote

That was the years before free agency. Also, we kept the same coaching staff for years. Now, we can never know if we will have the same players or coaches year in and year out. Richard was here for one season, did very well with our defense, and has several teams wanting to interview him fo HC. That's just one example. Quote
ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING Posted January 5, 2019 Report Posted January 5, 2019 21 20 hawks and just like predicted 28 17 colts, it might end up 40 to 0 colts Quote
PhatMack19 Posted January 6, 2019 Report Posted January 6, 2019 Man that was ugly. I can’t watch that again Quote
baddog Posted January 6, 2019 Report Posted January 6, 2019 That will be difficult to come back from. I saw it snap like a toothpick. Quote
