Guest Baseball1234 Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Who do you think is the best catcher in district 24-2A?
Guest Baseball1234 Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 The kid from E.C! I watched him play Kountze in Woodville! And he gunned out 3 of the 4 steals! And he is only a freshman! Cant wait to see what he does in the years to come!
whsalum Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 The kid from Hardin was the best one I saw.He didn't have a lot of help but he was solid.
soking Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Yeah i would have to say Emillio Zamarrippa from Hardin, he seemed much more consistent than any other.
HORNS4 Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 the kid from EC is a great student athlete but if yall think he is good behind the dish just wait until they let him play MIF or pitch his knuckle ball is disgusting. GO #9
JMuck Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Shep from Buna. He's a player! Little gets by him & he will definitely "gun ya down" on a steal!
ntputter17 Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Sorry guys, all those catchers were good, but the best catcher in 24-2A was the senior at Warren. Working with the youngest pitching staff, an indifferent infield and new coach he was still the most fundamentally sound in 24-2A. The only other bright spot on the Warren team was West in centerfield, also the best in 24-2A.
soking Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Sorry but I dont think there was anybody from Warren that was the best in 24-2a.
kramer Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Sheppard of Buna......This kid has alot of ability........Sophmore........Should develop into a dominant player.......We'll see....
snowflake Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 The Terran kid from Anahuac is only a Sophmore too. He gunned out Buna's fastest base runner at 2nd base with the game on the line. Saved the game for Anahuac. He's a pressure player.
whsalum Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Sorry guys, all those catchers were good, but the best catcher in 24-2A was the senior at Warren. The only other bright spot on the Warren team was West in centerfield, also the best in 24-2A.I would have to say Swinney and Parker(playing with a seperated shoulder) were bright spots on the Warrior club this year. These 2 haven't forgotten how to play ,just need some help on the mound.Warren was 1 pitcher away from being a pretty respectable club.Sad to see from a club that had a lot of promise.
baseballplayer4life Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 i think its my boy omar teran from anahuac
swampcitylion Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I would have to say Omar Teran, since he really is a 2b/ss he is doing a great job behind the plate and he is also catching for the hardest thrower in the district. Plus Teran is a stick thats not anything new for a Teran though his brother broke the .500 mark for three years in HS until he grad. last year
ntputter17 Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 I just got a good look at the kid from Kountze, he is also a very good catcher. Good size, good speed and he hit the ball pretty well. Our Warren catcher didnt impress me tonight. Hate to see him end his playing days with a game like today.
baseball1972 Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 Sorry but I dont think there was anybody from Warren that was the best in 24-2a. I guess you know nothing about anyone from warren
