MrsT12 Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Man, that was hateful. Lamar has a long standing tradition in tennis. Maybe she WANTS to go to Lamar and get to stay close to home and have local fan support. Congrates! You are getting to do something many only dream of!
BABOLAT2 Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Congratulations, but I would of figured she would of went to Tyler Junior College which has way better tennis facilities. She could of went there and got here basics and then transfered to Lamar, but I guess she wan't to stay at home. Congratulations.
blanca Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 Tyler junior college is a good school, but their tennis program right now is not at its best.
kville_extreme Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 you can definately say that i know salina very well and she jumped on the offer to lamar. salina checked out TJC and it's not as up to lamar standards over these next few years probably. they just have really nice facilities. congrats salina, we're all proud of you.

I had lunch with Wong the other day and he was really speaking highly of Salina. He thinks she will play #6 this season and will be a good player for many years to come.
