Houston Yates basketball

Has anyone seen them play this year?? How are they looking?

You can look at the results in Maxpreps.  Scores are about what you'd expect.  They are ranked No. 4 right behind Silsbee.  So I assume they are a normal Yates team.  They beat Bmt United by 2 so that's about the same as the Tigers.  

District 23 looks like it's a little weaker than 22. 

It shapes up to be another rematch and a another barn burner.  Unless of course there is an upset.

Saw them early in the season. I would say last year's Yates was better than this year's. I also think this year's Silsbee team is slightly better than last years.

Serrialle and Hughes is hard to replace.

Not the same Yates as last year. They don't really have a big this year kinda crazy for Yates..

FF won by 17 how is that almost an upset....

Yates big man last year in the regional tournament was a non factor. Foul trouble kept him on the bench.

Yep , couldn’t get in the flow of the game. He’s been starting the last few games at SFA. Gonna be a beast.

The game was crazy I guess you just had to see how the score was running that 17 points didn't come really till the fourth. The game was good. Don't you have paper work to do...lol

All I really know about Yates is Rubin Jones is still there and likely their best player.

Him and Braylon played together on the same team this summer on, I think, the Houston Defenders.
