It’s going to be Amy Coney Barrett.  She’s a female and has black kids so the racist thing is out.  They have already started attacking some of the lower level appointees for being Catholic, so I’m sure that will be the angle the go after.  It’s 53-47 so it won’t matter.

If someone is on life support, can they do their job effectively? Alive or not, if your on life support, you should be replaced. It sounds strange to even have to say that.

Agree...it looks like there is no good mechanism in place to replace an incapacitated SCJ other than impeachment.

I don't think it'll matter. From what I read, I don't see her making it to the end of the year. Barring something barbaric, like keeping a dead person hooked up to a machine for political reason. Buuuuttt, Democrats do love killing babies so who knows
