BMTSoulja1 Posted January 16, 2019 Report Posted January 16, 2019 Great win. Kids balled out of control. They played great defense and grabbed rebounds. Harrison did his thing..And it becomes a knee slapper when I hear people that say Coach Green is not the answer.... He did a great job... Alpha Wolf and About a week ago 2 Quote

They obviously have the talent to beat top ranked teams, so who’s to be held accountable for the bad losses? Because they’ve had them. Westbrook? NS beat them by 30. Lol good win, yes. It should open your eyes a little bit more though to what this team is actually capable of. Can you explain to me why Pleasant spent most of the year playing very few minutes coming off the bench? I can’t either. Half way into the year and he’s just now figuring out who his guys are. You gotta hold these coaches accountable man don’t let a great win wipe away some bad losses. I hope he is successful for these kids sake, they really deserve a deep run in the playoffs. Quote

That Peasant kid is a baller, we clearly see that now. And yes, we won't forget that WB loss... That still stings, especially because we were up most of the game and let it slip away at the end. Well, I hope everything is figured out. And I like Green because you just can't argue with experience, results and hardware to back it up... 2020VISION 1 Quote

Hagar Posted January 16, 2019 Report Posted January 16, 2019 What a great win. Alpha knew this was the “chance” (See: Top Games 1/14 thread). I had alluded to United or West Brook doing it (See: We may have a first here at SETXsports). Just to much talent in Beaumont, especially combining Ozen & Central. It’s taken a while, but that’s natural. Combining all that talent with team chemistry isn’t easy. Congrats to the United Team, Coach and fans. Big win in the District, but even more importantly, to “Unite” the two schools into one. At the end of last nights game, there were no Panthers or Jaguars, only Timberwolves. BMTSoulja1 1 Quote
