BUNA95 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Stros need to pull it together and quick. Lets not try to make a comeback at the end of the year, lets take the lead now!! ;D
Ruckdad Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 I was at the game last night - It was pathetic! And the natives(fans) are restless. Boos in the second inning. For a while there, I thought Arroyo had a shot at a no-no, but it does get harder the second and third time through the lineup. The sticks have to get going - the pitching has been allrfight for the most part (notwithstanding Albers start last night), but you can't win if you don't score any runs.Berkman and Lee have to get it going in a hurry!
go stros Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 STROS WIN....dont get to say that much anymore! haha
JohnnyT60 Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Went to the game last night and it was great. A Stro's win and the roof was open all night.. The beer was cold too.
Guest WBFan09 Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 it was a good win..the astros dont need to win 20 games in a row..though it wolud be nice...they just need to win 2-3 or 3-4 win several series in a row

JohnnyT60 Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 The other night when I went to the game, I met a guy named Sorrentino. He is VP of Astros marketing and broadcasting. Anyway, I noticed he had this huge ring on. As we started to talk I mentioned his ring. He asked me if I would like to look at it. I thought he was just going to hold it out so i could look at it, but he handed it to me. It must have weighed a half of a pound. It had the broken star on top and his name was forged on the side. The star was lined with diamonds. That was pretty cool!
