Actually they played Three Way. It’s a tiny ISD outside of Stephenville.

Three Way is in their first year of having a high school. Them and Bluff Dale were K-8 schools who fed into Stephenville (mostly) but due to TEA funding this year have expanded to include high school. Lipan probably knew it would be a blowout and decided to just shoot instead of driving inside especially if Three Way ran a 2-3 zone. Lipan was probably just hot all night. Only 10 points were not three pointers. They are classy and probably did not mean to run up the score but if everyone is hitting what do you do, just hold the ball and not let the other team have it?

Lipan has to be extremely tough to have beaten Shelbyville recently.   Neither of those teams would beat this East Chambers team though imo.

I said earlier this year in a post Lipans starting 5 could compete with anyone's starting 5 and it would be a good game. Because of their size...

You may be right.  Coldspring is definitely one of the favorites in the region.

Coldsprings has the athletes, but don’t know if they have the basketball skill to go with their athleticism like EC does. Plus, I just don’t think anyone can run with EC like Coldsprings will try to do.
