Since when did we start separating veterans from their children?

Everyone that breaks the law and gets detained will be separated from their children/family.  I have a family member who recently went to jail for DUI.  She was separated from her child while she was in jail.  Should we have complained because she broke the law and went to jail?  Should we complain because she was separated from her family?

Again, she most likely knew where her children were, and knew how to find them when she got out.

The separation of kids from parents illegally entering our country is that the parents are actually under arrest. Same reasons that juveniles are not imprisoned with adults in our state and federal prisons. Grow up. Put your thinking cap on.

CPS has procedures to reunite after resolution. Apparently INS does not.

They at least know where they are.

How about be a good parent and don't put your kids in this situation.  Stop your bleeding heart for people who knowingly and willingly break the law.  Stop having a bleeding heart for criminals who would endanger their children by breaking the law.  I don't feel bad for my family member who went to jail for a DUI.(I didn't want it to happen to her but she deserved it.)  I dang sure don't feel bad for an illegal immigrant who puts their children/family in danger by breaking the law.

For those parents who would endanger their kids, let them in..... then they can abort them. What could be better? Those loving parents. The age of kids to legally abort them keeps going up. Pretty soon, it will be legal to murder them at any age...... But let's concentrate on separaring then from their illegal parents at the border.

They’re trying to bring their family to a place they believe will provide a better opportunity. That’s a good and desperate parent. I’m not going to stop involving my heart in my decision making. If you calling me a “bleeding heart” makes you feel better, go for it.

Is that the best you got? Murder legal at any age? I hope that’s just hyperbole.

The best I got?????? They are paying a bill that allows abortion up to just before delivery. Where does your morality kick in if the fetus is still living off Mama's oxygen or about to take his first breath? Why stop there? See where I am going with this? I think any woman having an abortion simply because she screwed up and doesn't want the baby, should have to be shown the fetus after it is removed so it can burn into her memory banks what the child looked like that she murdered.

My question to those concerned about child/parent separation, would you knowingly take your children into another country where you could be separated from them?  I could see it if perhaps these people were emaciated, but that’s not the case.  So if you’re getting by where you’re at, would you take a chance of being separated from your children?  I seriously doubt that.  I know I wouldn’t.

Isn’t it sad that the same folks “concerned“ about children being separated from their parents are the sames ones supporting abortion...even up to birth.

They love kids...as long as they are already born.

Twenty years ago, had I said, The Left will have men & women going to the same bathroom, that would have been hyperbole - then.  The Far Left is so radical, I’m reluctant to put constraints on most possible future agendas.

That man nurse that fathered a baby with his comatose patient is only about 6 months ahead of the Democratic agenda.

Yes, very sad..... and criminal to me.

My post should read passing a bill, not paying.

Was that federal legislation did that, or Supreme Court affirmation of state law?

I was merely discussing how, what is now hyperbole, can turn into reality.  You and I both know the bathroom fiasco was the result of Democratic activist.  And of course the Left is the proponent of legalized abortion (which, in my youth would’ve been consider hyperbole).  I could repeat all the pro-abortion arguments, but we both know them.  So someday the feminist movement decides a baby restricts a woman’s ability to get back in society.  Ties her down.  Restricts her freedom.  So the answer?  Have the baby euthanized.  Then it’s the 2 year old that’s the problem.  Hyperbole?  Right now, absolutely.  Ten years from now?  Who knows?

All that said, if the hypothetical situation happens, will you still be a democrat?  I respect your right not to answer, but I just wonder how far the Far Left will go before your average liberal says, Wait, you can’t do that.

All jokes aside, I’m personally opposed to abortion, but never felt like the government should force my beliefs onto others... I guess you could say that I’m very conservative on the social issues, but probably more libertarian on my views of how influential I believe the federal government should be in our lives. Roe vs Wade has been the standard since before I was born, so I think the repubs waste a lot of time discussing the issue just to earn the pro-life vote.

What changed my mind on the issue was when the dems moved so far as to demand abortion on demand, regardless of a woman’s right to pay.... effectively saying that people like me who are morally opposed to abortions should be financially responsible for providing them.

That’s what drives me nuts about the left... if they support something, any different opinion is labeled hateful, bigoted and an intrusion into their personal life. My views on abortion are hateful and show my willingness to force my views onto women... however, forcing me to break out my wallet and pay for your abortion isn’t forcing their views onto me, lol. If you believe marriage should be between and man and woman (I personally don’t care), you are a homophobe and forcing your views on the LGBTQ community. But, if you bake cakes for a living and believe your bible re:homisexuality, you should be compelled to bake for a same-sex wedding, regardless of your views, and somehow that’s considered to NOT be against your own civil rights.

The left wants to decry the federal government as intrusive and overreaching, while simultaneously using it to intrude and overreach into areas that the left wants to see changed.

The hypocrisy is maddening.

I haven’t heard anyone proposing child euthanasia, even the hint of an idea. Of course I wouldn’t support that. I look at abortion as not only a woman’s right to choose, but a public health issue as well.

When abortion is illegal, only those who can afford it will get them safely done.

    • In a video released Monday, Raja Cholan, a top official at the U.S. National Library of Medicine under the NIH, admitted to an undercover OMG operative he doubts jab efficacy and hasn’t “gotten the latest COVID shots and I’m not going to.”  “I PROBABLY SHOULDN’T BE SAYING THIS OUT LOUD;” Chief Confesses COVID Health Initiatives Were "COMPLETELY MADE UP”. "I don’t even know if these vaccines stop you from getting COVID. They don’t.” Adds, "We're all going to learn [about vaccine safety] when it's too late," as Pfizer & Moderna "are just getting a bunch of money… Vaccines were accelerated through the approval.” ‘We fly under the radar of being scrutinized…I don't think I have too much to worry about.’ Trump victory “worse for the NIH.” “It would be better for a Democrat to be in office.” WOW!!!!
    • The same reason you worry about Trump more than anything else. Why do trolls like yourself start threads like your Soros hedge fund thread and you never come back to…..just bait. Newsom might make a run for president in 2028. People need to know about his policies. You don’t think that’s important?
    • I like Newton’s chances here. I’ve watched  videos of Daingerfield what few I could get. Their big Qb scares me a little he looks Ike a good athlete. I think for a change Newton has a little more speed than the Tigers. That Samuel kid for Newton can move., and it goes without saying about Porter. That Hunter kid ain’t bad either. They scared me to death with their pass defense against Edgewood until I saw the video. That Qb for Edgewood can put it on a dime. And, his receivers could catch it. I’m pumped; this is the most fun time of the year for me. Go Eagles.🦅 I have to add this though. I watched the State game between the tigers and Yoe in 2010. Those guys looked like grown men playing as opposed to kids now a days who look like boys.😂 that was a heck of a good game.
