They may be better. I'm sure they will, and I hope they are. But returning everybody from an 3-20 team doesn't bode well for Kountze. Kountze being "back" is them pushing the Region.

May not be fair to compare a victory over this Kountze team to a loss to some of the Kountze teams of the past. With some of the scores reported from the junior high the Lions may struggle for awhile.

He must not have played basketball at Kountze. I seen both Kountze middle School teams before he moved to Silsbee.

when i coached youth in lumberton, we had a couple move over from kountze but those boys are now in silsbee i believe

1994 was the last time Kountze missed out.

No the parents from Silsbee told me he moved to Kountze then moved back to Silsbee about 2-3 was ago I believe

Your right as they had a few Silsbee JV kids more to Silsbee back then and they almost made it to state. Ebay McDaniel and Waylon Lowe were there leading scorers. Silsbee and Kountze lost in the Regional Finals in 1995.
