Dayton - Athlete of the Year - Cody Green

Dayton High Schools Athlete of the Year award went to sophmore Cody Green.

Cody was the starting QB for the Dayton varsity football team that won the undefeated 22-4A District Title and Bi-District Title this past season.

He played on the varsity basketball team, ran varsity track, and varsity baseball.

He also won District Offensive Newcomer of the year. I am sure there some things I left out.

Congratulations to Cody, he is an excellent athlete and person. We expect great things in Cody's future.

Your right I briefly met him at a track meet and he is class from the word go. I could sit back all DAY and watch him high jump and run the open four hundred. What a great honor and he will be a good one before he leaves Dayton.

I said this in another thread,but I will say it again.This kid is the total package.You will see him on Saturdays.

          You would have NEVER thought he was  a soph.last year.

He can do it all.And he is really good size.

He will be the difference maker in alot of games in the coming years!

Reminds me of Odell James. Big, Strong, Tall, and can run. Would not be surprised if he is the top recruit in Texas in 2 years.
