OneChance Posted February 6, 2019 Report Posted February 6, 2019 Congrats to Orangefield! Why do I have a hard time imagining that Hardin is the same size as the other 3 teams in this district? Coach.Shu 1 Quote

Orangefield 499 Buna 455 EC 434 Hardin 337 Orangefield will more than likely move back up to 4A at the next realignment. The freshman class in OF is the largest class to ever come through at around 170. Quote

Bobkat Posted February 6, 2019 Report Posted February 6, 2019 Very talented group coming up next year, freshman class now is pretty good too. They might struggle some next year because they'll be very young, losing 6 talented seniors this year will hurt for next year but having two starters returning should lessen the blow. Some of the young kids will have to step up, I'm guessing 3 to 4 sophomores and a couple freshmen could see varsity time next year. With all that said, two years from now Orangefield will have a solid nucleus for the next 2-3 years. Very similar to the senior class that led them to a district title this year, but we'll most likely be back in the 4A ranks. Quote

One hell of a tradition Quote

Previous two years we were competing against schools with 400 to 500 more students. Quote
