MVP

Could go to many players here.

Schooling,Calhoun-Silsbee

Treece-HJ

Stringer-BC

Reagan-Jasper

Outfield

Dishon-BC

Calhoun-Sil

Roebuck-HJ

Geautreau-HJ

Thomas-WOS

Other positions will be tight.

Surely the district champion had the MVP.  I mean Schooling and Calhoun didn't make the playoffs.  Stringer didn't pitch well in the game to win the district title (from what I heard, wasn't there).  Now a strong case could be made for Treece, but a slight edge would have to go to the district champion.

players should be chosed based on perfermance, not how many times the media asked to scrub their royal balls...

imo the mvp should be from the district champion and sometimes a co mvp might be given to a kid that is on one of the other 2 playoff teams

BC:  Dishon, Stringer

HJ:  Treece

Silsbee:  Schooling

You will probably find your offensive and defensive MVP in that list somewhere as well.

It is kind of like Kobe Bryant not winning the NBA MVP.  Everyone agrees he is the best player and leads the league in scoring, but others have helped their team achieve more.

I can't think of any instances where it shouldn't be the best player on the best team.

Bridge City will be well represented in the all-districts pics. IMO, you have a guy who could get Newcomer of the Year or MVP.

I don't think any one team will dominate the All-district selections.  I think there will be 4 to 5 players from each of the top 4 teams and 2 to 3 players from each of the remaining schools.
