Maybe I could just say the ever increasing amount of "benefits" and  "services" to be funded by taxing those who arent paying their "fair share".  Venezuela transitioned, over the past ten years, from one of the wealthier countries in the world to one  completely devoid of value and values as well.  It was NOT the result of capitalism.

Corruption, economic mismanagement (remember oil falling from $110+ to around $20 - they didn’t plan well at all) and undemocraric governance beginning with Chavez and intensifying under Maduro drove the transition, not increases in benefits and services to takers.

Sure, go ahead and subscribe to that theory.   I assume you believe that the "rich" will always have sufficient means to take care of everyone else ( the money supply is endless) and that there will always be a fair balance of makers vs takers

It’s not a matter of rich vs poor. It’s how a society decides to use its assets. 

You say corruption and mismanagement don’t exist? Poor governance is the medium that allows them to flourish.

Do you mean the assets the some generate?  Sounds like you are a big fan of central planning and wealth redistribution done by the "benevolent" government.  If you are so sure about Venezuela, tell me what happened in Greece and Cuba?
