With the coach Crosby has hired there's absolutely no reason to think that they should finish better than 3-7 next year, but I'll tell you what? If this qb transfer gets signed off on we might look like we did the first four games of the season before Howard tore his ACL on Vidor's raggedy arse field last year. The way things have been going lately he probably won't though, meaning we'll be throttled by New Caney at home to open the season and all 500 Crosby fans that go to the next home game against Vidor including the "give him a chance people" will be expressing their angst for Coach Prieto early and often. So much to look forward to . . .

On the flip side, watch what Coach Freeman goes over to CE King and does with their offense. He'll be coaching in the premier facility in East Harris County and has an explosion of athletes heading his way, leaving Crosby was a blessing in disguise as we turn into west-Dayton.

I didn't think Freeman left after all to C.E. King?

I stand corrected.  Yes, Freeman is staying now.

Wow, powers that be must have realized how much pull he has in the community and on the kids and convinced him to stay. You think that is something they should have considered during the hiring process.....

The powers that be is Proeto. He is the AD and is in charge of his staff. Give him him props for holding on to a great coach like    Freeman.

He didn’t hold on to Freeman, those kids did. It’s very apparent how he feels about that community and those kids and that should’ve been taken into consideration during the hiring process. Never fear though, during the 2021 offseason, when the next coaching search is going on in Crosby, he will get another chance.

Apparently you do not know how a athletic school system works. The AD alone has the power to control who your staff is.. not the kids.. if Freeman is apart of ANY Athletic department it is because the AD allowed it. A coach not allowed by the AD would still have his yearly contract to teach but not allowed...

so if Freeman stayed and is COACHING it’s because of one man. Give him his props!!

You’re missing my point. Freeman may have been offered the opportunity to stay by the AD, but the AD isn’t why Freeman made that decision.
