Seems odd that with all of the extra headaches going on with the administration and budget for this job that they would require a masters degree. Going to narrow down their options when it's already got other baggage going on. Figure they'd take the best candidate they can hope for masters or not.

Any administrative position requires a Master's degree. AD is an administrative position.

Not every AD has a masters. It's not required

A lot of AD jobs will say masters degree preferred.

Maybe not, but good luck becoming an AD without a Masters/Mid Management degree.

They will hire administrators without and give them a timeline to obtain one also.  I know of a couple of instances of that happening, not for the AD position but others.

Yeah, the athletic program at Nederland has really fallen apart without that Masters degree in place.

“Rio2”, as he is called, was listed as the RB coach. I would think he would go with Rio. The OC is listed as Freeman, who I would really like to see get a chance. Crosby does have an Asst. AD (Coker) that you would think they would consider also. But who knows what the current Board and Administration will do. Their decision-making abilities of late is HIGHLY questionable.
