Very good game but was scratching my head with the Woodville coaches in those last 30 seconds.

I'm curious to know what happened in the last 30?

[About a week ago]

According to someone at the game. Woodville was down 2, with around 30 seconds to go. Buna ball and Woodville on had 4-5 team fouls. They never tried to foul. Then Connell took a shot with around 10 seconds remaining. Then Woodville turned the ball over on the other end.

Woodville had the possession in their favor.  They tried to cause a jump ball.  Connell took a shot that Woodville rebounded.  Fast break down the court and a Buna kid knocked it out of bounds with 8 seconds left.  Woodville had a chance to tie the game and turned the ball over, when the ball was dribbled off a kids foot setting up an offense set.  Had nothing to do with coaching.  Woodville had 2 chances to tie the game in the final seconds and didn't.

The last 7.7 seconds Woodville had two fouls to give to put Buna in the bonus . They would have had to foul immediately on the inbound and then hoped for a missed free throw but it would have at least been an option. In the coaches defense he was calling for his team to do this but some of them were frustrated it appeared and didn't respond. My only question would have been use of timeouts. Overall it was a good ballgame to watch.
