Kevin Hurley's Lady Lions, Champions of District 21-4A, reached this round with a 48-39 bi-district win over Bridge City and a 66-63 area round win over Houston Wheatley. Meanwhile, Mike Fogo's Lady Hawks, Champions of District 22-4A, punched their ticket to this round with a 84-28 bi-district win over Splendora and a 61-27 area round win over Houston Wheatley. Trocket Posted February 20, 2019 Report Posted February 20, 2019 Good season for the Lady Lions, never thought they would beat HJ hawks, who I always thought had the best chance from this area in 4A to win it all. Even though the Lions second best player quit before this game it would not have made a difference. Believing we might see a rematch between Silsbee and HJ. Quote
