Nederland you will be waiting for a while. Next summer is when the turf will be laid down.

All I was just told is they are doing all the work at one time, turf, bathrooms, press box and etc. so next summer. I wish they would do the turf now.

They'll be doing a piece at 10 on KFDM on the turf at Hooks Stadium.  I'm sure Coach Thompson will give a progress report on the status of the stadium.

Wow. Texan drive jumbotron was the biggest in the state when it was built. That gonna be amazing

Yea, I did catch Coach T saying that on the news also.  I wonder how its gonna be paid for.  Private donor,  part of the bond, or like BISD did with all sponsorship...

Unless they saved some money on the turf, the scoreboard isn't being paid out of bond money.

A nice jumbo-tron would be great, but I'd be just as happy with a scoreboard that actually worked all the time!
