LCM jumps out with a 4-0 lead as Landon Womack held Nederland

in check till the 5th. Ned's Michael Mosley cleared the bases in the 5th

with a 2 out double that tied the score.

Womack greeted reliever Mattison Smith with a double to score Clayton

Ehlert in the 6 th to secure the win.

[Bears]

What a great game, LCM jumps out with a Big RBI by Jake Rowell in the first, and was then follwed by a 2 out 2run single from Jerrod Dugas in the third. Landon Womack up 4-1, Dugas comes in.

Big 3 run double by Mosley to tie it up.....in comes Smith and the Bears score 2 quick off of big hits from Womack and Rowell. Dugas comes back out for the 6 and 7th and shuts down the Dogs getting the final 2 with K's to get the win 6-4.

Nederland is tough and never gives up, just a Great Game all around.....

Bears now 21-4 and 9-0 following a first ever Mid-County sweep.

Dogs go to 14-9 and 7-2 and will make some noise in the playoffs for sure.

Great Game! Womack and Dugas Got the job done along with some Great Team hitting, I was impressed with how well LCM swung the bats.

LCM plays defense with the best of them. I was impressed with the quality bats they have as they hit the ball hard. Nederland to me has chance to still make some noise. They have competed in both games with LCM.

Nederland's weakness is defense. Sometimes you can overcome that if you can score runs.

You can bet Nederland will beat some good teams in the playoffs, Coach Robbins will have them ready.

From what I saw Nederland is going to be Very Good next year.
