Roll_Left15 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 i think it would be cool to have a SE Texas football magazineThe Examiner puts out a SETexas Football Guide every year...last year's cover boy was Joe Chaisson of WB....good stuff dedicated to every football program in setexas. It's getting better and better every year, it's won awards and everything....
KFDM COOP Posted May 17, 2007 Author Report Posted May 17, 2007 I have 1963 thru 2006. Yep, I will get 2007. I've held the 1960 one but I didn't buy it at the time. I visited with Dave Campbell in his office in 1993 about his memories of doing the first one at his kitchen table with his wife Edith. His "piddling around" turned into something each of us look forward to. There are times it has some "isues" (no pun intended), but it is still the best. Pushing to get it on the sreet sooner and sooner, causes the problems, IMO.We will all see who the Cover Boy will be............. Predictions? I say Colt McCoy or possibly Todd Dodge with North Texas (or a mix). Probably a mix..We'll see.
Guest Yard Bird Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 You never know who will be on the cover. Last year you would think it would have been Mack Brown or someone from the national champs. Heck this year they might put West Texas A&M's Deep Snapper on the cover.Who Knows?
WHBaseball14 Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 I get 1 every year. hadnt missed 1 in 5 years!

stevieray Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 I'm not a big fan of the cover. I think they should always put at least 1 high school athlete on the front since the majority of the magazine covers high schools.
TradinUp BH Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 I'm not a big fan of the cover. I think they should always put at least 1 high school athlete on the front since the majority of the magazine covers high schools. I second that motion

AshlyHasBeen Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I agree for most picks as far as standings waste of money but the info on players and returning starters etc. it's a very valuable source.
KFDM COOP Posted June 12, 2007 Author Report Posted June 12, 2007 They did a good job again except for State Rankings.
