ItsMeSnitches Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Who do yall think will be some standout recievers for the 07 season? ;D
bronco1 Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 A.J. Dugat - Dayton Should stand out this year. He stood out last year as a sophmore.
Bucster Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Vance McDonald - ECHe was hampered last season as a Jr. with a separated shoulder. Did very well as a TE during the games he was able to play in.
wos08 Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 WOS - DennisReturning starter from last year, wasnt in spotlight due to 2 other D1 receivers
Guest 87CRU79 Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 I think that Asa Cardenas at Nederland is going to have a good year. 6 foot and about 160, has decent speed and great leaping ability. Just needs to stay outta grade trouble.
1971Coogs Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 I look forward to watching Nederland's new spread offense this year when they play Brenham in week zero at Reliant. It should be a different look than when we(La Marque)saw them last year. La Marque will play Port Neches Groves as part of the double header that same day. Should be a good day to watch high school football.I like your website, very information and a very good fan base. Keep up the good work.Mike LockwoodProducer Coogs Sports NetLa Marquehttp://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7722152146642229330&hl=en
ItsMeSnitches Posted May 11, 2007 Author Report Posted May 11, 2007 what was dominique's stats for last year...
Lucky Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 A.J. Dugat - Dayton Should stand out this year. He stood out last year as a sophmore.Yea, this kid has plenty of speed and tons of skills. I did see him drop 3 tds against LCM and I think it was him that dropped a punt at the png 2 yd. line that was recovered by the indians. He did however, make an outstanding TD catch in traffic against LCM. I know this kid is a keeper and will most likely get a shot at college ball.Good nomination for stand out reciever !

Could be confusing him with another player, he has great hands. Here are 2 examples:Texas City Game Catchhttp://s144.photobucket.com/albums/r180/mabethea/Video/?action=view¤t=b759d7b7.flvTD Catch in LCM Gamehttp://s144.photobucket.com/albums/r180/mabethea/Video/?action=view¤t=a88ec806.flv
ItsMeSnitches Posted May 11, 2007 Author Report Posted May 11, 2007 nice catches and good nomination....do yall think he will be able to play on the next level?
bronco1 Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 nice catches and good nomination....do yall think he will be able to play on the next level? He is strong, fast, and getting taller. At spring practice he is alot bigger already than last season. He will be able to play at the next level.

But like I said, he's a keeper and he has my vote !
dayton Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 You're right Lucky...had a couple of drops that game. A little uncharacteristic compared to the rest of the season. Had a touchdown pass the he threw himself called back that game too....great athlete.
dayton Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 How about that stiff arm on that LCM catch??? ouchÂ
AggiesAreWe Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 Donavan Harris of Silsbee was a very good reciever last year for the Tigers. Look for him to have a better year this year if he's not called on to play quarterback. At '6 "2, 185 with sprinter speed( regional champion in the 110 meter hurdles ), he'll get some looks from some Div. I schools for sure.
Guest WBFan09 Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 Joshua Powdrill - West BrookHe isnt as tall as your usual WR but he is quick and has great hands i expect the West Brook QB to be throwing his way alot this year
gary-us-bonds Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 Kevin Craft, Michael Mahan and Jahwran Goode for Baytown Lee.I like the Windon kid for PAM better than King. King had a bad case of the dropsies against LP in the playoffs.
Master T Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 I agree Donovan Harris will stand out next year as one of the top reciever in 3A. He has a great leaping ability. And he run nearly a 4.55
Tiger90 Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 If Johnson steps up and is the qb and the Tigers do in fact go spread, Harris could be a monster.

At '6 "2, 185 with sprinter speed( regional champion in the 110 meter hurdles ), he'll get some looks from some Div. Congrats Donavan.Big and very fast with great hands, that's what I like in a reciever.
Texasfan87 Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 A.J. Dugat - Dayton Should stand out this year. He stood out last year as a sophmore.I heard that AJ play some QB next year is that true?
bronco1 Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 I heard that AJ play some QB next year is that true?He does practice at QB, he can play QB he's got an arm. Here is a clip of him throwing a pass to Paul Fontenot.
