bobbymcgee Posted March 2, 2019 Report Posted March 2, 2019 What do you know about Argyle? If anything like the other sports they are going to be a well-coached fundamentally sound team who make you play their style of play. Great athletic program over there. Quote

This is the sixth year in a row Argyle has made the state tournament. Absolutely that requires great coaching. They have size, good quick ball movement, and can shoot. That said, if HJ comes in and controls the tempo and plays their game, they can hoist the trophy when the clock strikes zeros. I think HJ is going to need their all-time leading scorer to come up big in this one, dominating the boards and assisting her guards. Quote

bullets13 Posted March 3, 2019 Report Posted March 3, 2019 5 is really, really good, but there has been three separate times where she’s gone in the lane, thrown up a shot, and then fallen down like she’s been shot when there’s little or no contact, and a foul has been called every time Quote

bullets13 Posted March 3, 2019 Report Posted March 3, 2019 HJ has to rebound better. Argyle missed a couple of threes that had short rebounds that went down and bounced on the floor under the basket with nobody grabbing them. The last stat I saw on the broadcast had Argyle outrebounding HJ 12-2 in the 2nd quarter Quote
drewlsu Posted March 3, 2019 Report Posted March 3, 2019 Some pretty terrible calls happening. HJ 23 Argyle 34 5:43 Quote
