FanOfTheGame Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Every team has one, the player that moves from position to position depending on who's pitching. The best I've seen this year is LCM's Jerrod Dugas, his job includes Pitching, Outfielder, 3rd Base Man and during the first PNG game he was at 2nd Base, it dosen't matter what position he's playing, he gets the job done and when you need a key hit, he seems to be the one standing at the plate. This kid is fun to watch.
adminbaberuth Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Dugas fits in well for this LCM team. Griff has no fear to move him around.
Bears Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 In his 3 years as a starter for the Bears Dugas has started @ LF,CF,RF along with 3rd,SS,and Catcher as well as Pitcher. The PNG game was his first in HS at 2nd base and that was due to the injury of Jake Rowell. In HS 1B is the only place he has not played.
baseballdad Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 Ayers from WOS, I've seen him P,SS,2ND,3RD AND 1ST. Now I hear he played catcher and looked good doing it. Taking nothing away from Dugas,he's a great kid. Just like the first post read, every team has one. Great job to both of them.
FanOfTheGame Posted April 16, 2006 Author Report Posted April 16, 2006 I've hear and read alot about Ayers from WOS but it's always been about pitchin, sounds like he's a Great Utility player too!
