The East Chambers Buccaneers are only one game away from the Texas UIL Class 3A State Championship Game, but one big hurdle stands in their way in the form of the Brock Eagles, who they take on in this Class 3A State Semifinal today!

Todd Sutherland's Eagles, 31-2 on the season, reached the state tournament via the following road:

Bi-District: Newton, 96-49

Area Round: Hempstead, 70-37

Region III Quarterfinal: Nacogdoches Central Heights, 78-59

Region III Semifinal: Malakoff, 74-55

Region III Final: Crockett, 63-55

Meanwhile, the Eagles traveled the following route:

Bi-District: Wichita Falls City View, 80-56

Area Round: Colorado City, 60-46

Region I Quarterfinal: Holliday, 60-25

Region I Semifinal: Brownfield, 67-52

Region I Final: Childress: 58-40

Doubt the press will be the reason for EC getting back into this one. But EC usually shoots the ball well which will be the main reason if they win

just has to work a few times to work and get some momentum

It’s worked a few times. EC has turned them over more than I thought they would. Keep grinding

The worst I have seen EC shoot all year.  If we can just get back to normal we should win by 15.
