bear Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 The book on Womack last week They were a little off on this game: PNG 1 for 2 with a two run home run, bb, hbp, made some great defensive plays at first This part was correct: Nederland: Starting Pitcher: Shutout Nederland for 4 1/3 innings with 7K's, came off the mound with a 4-0 lead and went 4 for 4 at the plate with 2 doubles Total 5 for 6 at the plate, two doubles, one home run, 4 rbi's, 4 runs scored, 4 1/3 innings pitched, 7 k's, threw very well for us
midcountymadness Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Womack played a vital roll in knocking off both teams from our side of the bridge. I tip my hat to that kid.
Lonewolf Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Womack did it all last week. He did everything right except give signals from the 3rd base box and umpire behind the plate. Womack should be the winner hands down. The other guys also had good weeks but not as good as Womack.
callumlikeiseeum Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Who did all of these candidates post their numbers against? was 11 at bats in two games? if so, were they weak opponents?
jdawg03 Posted April 19, 2006 Author Report Posted April 19, 2006 yes they were in two games and no the quality of opponent played against is not really taken into consideration....If this were the case, then no 2a, and very few 3a players would ever win because the level of compeition at those levels are generally not as high...of course with the exception of 1 or 2
jdawg03 Posted April 19, 2006 Author Report Posted April 19, 2006 Landon Womack is the player of the week....Congrats to him!!
