OBSERVER Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 He had a .410 in district, with the glove I've been to every BC game and only recall 2 era's when he playing Short....Highest batting average in district? You sure about that? Or are you just talking about highest average for a short stop?
shs85 Posted May 15, 2007 Author Report Posted May 15, 2007 Brandon Wolcott played SS for Silsbee and was at .440 with 5 errors in district!
POOLAID Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 My stats show Hicks had the highest batting average for BC in district with a .410.
shs85 Posted May 15, 2007 Author Report Posted May 15, 2007 Who did have the highest batting average in district?
Southpaw Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 Silsbee 3rd. Baseman Blake Moss - Great Glove Fielding % 1.000
shs85 Posted May 15, 2007 Author Report Posted May 15, 2007 I agree with Southpaw on Blake Moss at third from Silsbee, Fielding % 1.000 for district and Fielding % for the year was 1.000!
Southpaw Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 Brandon Wolcott played SS for Silsbee and was at .440 with 5 errors in district! How many errors did he have for the season?
East TX Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 This is quite impossible to pick--Jasper, HJ, BC and H-F all did not have any weak infielders. I think that this District was truly blessed with quality infielders.
TigerMom Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Blake Moss, Brandon Wolcott & Chase Kelly - Silsbee
hj6 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 kevin roebuck (CF) hj had a .667 batting average for district
kkinetic Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Lundy-HJ He has a really good arm. This kid will get a lot of recognition next year (IMO)
MIF04 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 One of the best infielders in this district got moved to CF -- Taylor Hart from Jasper. Also, no one has mentioned Troy Bolton from BC. Last year's Newcomer of the Year in 21-3A and a very solid contributor to this year's team as a jr.
cardinal81o7 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 bolton is pretty stinkin solid...its a pretty sight when him and hicks get to turn two
injun Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Bridge City's Chase Warner has made some outstanding plays at First Base this year...Also has saved a bunch of throwing errors by digging them out of the dirt.
shs85 Posted May 16, 2007 Author Report Posted May 16, 2007 I agree with Warner at 1st, Bolton at second, Wolcott/Hicks SS and Moss at third!
Guest Bulldog Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 He is Troy Bolton III!! lol almost a jr.
Ty Cobb Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Who did have the highest batting average in district?Rocky Calhoun hit .457 in district.
