Ulrich von Lichtenstein Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I just saw on the UIL website that 22-3A is getting a new school in its basketball district next season.Anybody out there know anything about Kingwood Park? Will they be able to knock off any of this year's Big 3 of Coldspring, Splendora, and Cleveland? If they're pulling from the same talent pool as Kingwood High, watch out, 3A....

Bon_Mot Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I think Kingwood Park is going to be a 4A. It's projected to hold 1,300 to 1,700 students. They are going to be a force in soccer, as well. Here's their link: http://www.humble.k12.tx.us/kphs.htm
3A-CC-Coach Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 this upcoming year Kingwood park will be classified as a 3A school. In 06-07 they only had freshmen. This coming year they will only have freshmen and sophmores. They should have everything except Varisty FB. They will get some of the Kingwood kids, but will only be 9th and 10th when they are 3A; but they will have all that Kingwood $ and facilities. Each year they will add another grade, and are expected to be 4A when they have all four grades.
