JMay Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I know that RPI does make a difference, and if ULL can quarantee a minimum bid, then they have a good chance to host. Baseball has not become as lucrative as the real money producers YET. Coastal Carolina will host, as will San Diego, and Long Beach, instead of the larger venues like Clemson, etc. I do agree though if LSU has a decent club this year, "The Box" is hosting over Tigue Moore Field in Lafayette.

JMay Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 That Fort Worth Regional is a new projection. TCU hasn't been mentioned as a host site until this week. I really don't see that happening, but given the Ags demise as of late I wouldn't rule anything out. The PV/Rice possibility scare the bejesus out of me. PV pushed the Owls to the limit last year and almost stole one in Houston this year. They are a dangerous club. Hopefully they will be shipped somewhere else.
