The better teams played them pretty tough.. Lufkin Hudson (2 close games), Liberty Eylua (2 close games non district)

I don't believe that Liberty Eylau pitched Middlebrooks in either game against carthage, and fowler only pitched a couple of innings in one game. LE's bats have really started to come around as shown with the 13-0 win against Commerce.
