Buna Basketball

A couple of weeks ago there was a thread concerning Buna basketball. Heard from a few friends that the Buna basketball job is open. I thought Coach Purtell was doing a good job and was in a position for the Cougars to show alot of improvement. Can anyone confirm the job is open?

I heard earlier this spring it was coming open.Can't confirm it but the guy who told me is a Buna resident.

They wouldn't make the playoffs even if Jeff Van Gundy took that job!! ;D

That would be a tough place to coach, wonder who will take that program over ?

I kno the next 2 or 3 years they won't be in a competive level play of Basketball...Whoever takes it over must be willing to wait 4 or 5 years to get sum good talent into the Program...
