Hotel Rooms & Age Restrictions

My G’son and his best friend are going next week to participate in a basketball camp for Seniors, in Dallas.  When his mother tried to reserve them a Hotel room, there was not one in Dallas that would allow anyone under 21, except one of the cheaper ones required one be 19.  Understand, that’s with her using her credit card.  Has to be someone 21.

I was blown away when she told me this, as was she.  Thought I’d share in case any of your young relatives are planning some kind of trip.  Kind of puts making the voting age 16 in perspective.

Durn JV_coach, you should know it’s not PC to lump everyone together, lol (and believe it or not, these two boys are fairly mature, but more importantly, we’ll mannered).  I get your point, but in Today’s world, things are different.  Why marry same sex couples - change children’s gender - suggest 16 year olds be allowed to vote - have presidential candidates who claim to be another race - allow treasonous individuals to be free?  Heck, I’m preaching to the choir
