KFDM COOP Posted June 5, 2007 Report Posted June 5, 2007 Pence earnes NL Rookie of the Month honors Astros outfielder Hunter Pence, who led all rookies with 19 RBI, has earned National League Rookie of the Month honors.Pence led all National League rookies with four home runs. He recorded a .593 slugging percentage and a .372 on base percentage over 28 games played. The 24-year old batted .343 (37-108) and added 11 runs, nine doubles, three triples and three stolen bases.Other National League rookies receiving votes included Arizona's Mark Reynolds (.426, 4 HR, 15 RBI); San Diego's Justin Germano (3-0, 1.08 ERA, 9 SO) and Kevin Kouzmanoff (.303, 3 HR, 18 RBI); Troy Tulowitzki (.303, 6 2B, 12 RBI) of the Rockies; and Tim Lincecum (2-0, 3.24 ERA, 33 SO) of the Giants.
