Kinda weird to do a poll when only 16 teams have a chance to win the championship, and with some of the teams being ranked but out of contention, and still be over teams who are..

so wait...Texas and Vanderbilt are ranked in the top 10...but are FINISHED with their season?...they shouldn't even be in the top 16!!! they are eliminated!!! finished!!! done!!! how can you rank them in the top 10!?!?...just amazing...

not saying it is right nor it is fair but Texas does tend to get a pass from the voters due to all of the national championships they have won in the sport and that they are still a very competitive program

I doubt Wichita State, CSF, Michigan, Oregon State, et. al. really care if Texas and Vanderbilt are ranked in front of them right now.  I'd take #22 and still playing instead of #7 and going home for the summer any day.

Vanderbilt was ranked number 1 all year, they cant drop 20 spots because they had a bad tournament and how is texas overated they are good every year and kyle russel hit 27 homeruns, they can not be overated if year in and year out they get the job done
