643 Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 90% of the fish are in 10% of the water, and caught by 10% of the fishermen.
BIGDADDYDAVEHJ Posted August 5, 2007 Author Report Posted August 5, 2007 I went this past sunday there in kayaks with 2 guys i work with and i caught about 15 lil rat reds and i just got back from there today and me and my buddy must of caught 30 rat reds and i caught one that was 26 in. not a bad one...we caught all of them by free lineing a mullet with a popping cork and it worked real good and i caught 2 on mourning glory...not to bad of a day

injun Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 What happened to the crabbing there ??? Used to catch tons of them but have not caught them since hurricane rita...
tvc184 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 I did some more checking and I think they are going to lay a 42" pipeline about 4 feet deep under Keith Lake (right down the center of it). To start, they are going to bring in tons of sand and build a platform/penninsula several hundred feet out into the lake near Junior's launch next to Hwy 87.

I know they are screwing up some of the best duck hunting in all of SE Texas with all of this crap thier doing
PNG Proud Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Fished Keith Lake on July 4th. Nada, zilch, zippo...and no crabs either. Anyone else having better luck than me?
tvc184 Posted July 7, 2008 Report Posted July 7, 2008 Fished Keith Lake on July 4th. Nada, zilch, zippo...and no crabs either. Anyone else having better luck than me? Was it muddy from all the digging or did the tide keep it fairly clear?
PNG Proud Posted July 9, 2008 Report Posted July 9, 2008 It was really clear at the cut, leading into Intercoastal. A little off color in the big lake, near the dredging, but pretty good in the back lakes. Just couldn't find and bounty.
