Guest Ozen Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 Here are a few trade rumors along with updates from the NBA workout scene:• One possible destination for Ron Artest this summer? Houston, to be reunited with his former coach Rick Adelman. I'm told the Rockets have been quietly putting out feelers about Artest, and the price might be right. I hear it would cost the Rockets Bob Sura (he has only $1 million in salary protection next year), Kirk Snyder, Vasilis Spanoulis and this year's first-round draft pick.
king Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I would like to have Artest on the team, but i rather have lewis, and they should get rid of Sura he never stays healthy.
davidortizfan Posted June 23, 2007 Report Posted June 23, 2007 i think it would be a stupid move. artest, a good player yes, but a bad past. i dont want him tearing apart the team..
Guest DickVitale Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 BAD MOVE...And I am not even a Rocket fan!!
bears99 Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 Seattle got a lot of new pieces to their team tonight , so who knows, maybe Lewis will be expendable now.
king Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 yeah but we traded cash for two picks and its going to cost alot for him to get here :-\
WHBaseball14 Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 ya its unlikely 2 happen but vince carter opted out of his contract last night, that would b cool if we could get the cousins back 2gether again! and when i say that im talking about him and tmac.
king Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 yeah we would like to have hime but we have to get rid of some players first...
WHBaseball14 Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 ya we could start by getting rid of some of the 6 guards that we have! lol! ;D
bears99 Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 So much for getting Rashard Lewis. He signed with the Magic yesterday.
DenisGScott Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 and FYI did you know Lewis's dad started for Lamar in the late 70s. The name Ki Lewis ring a bell to any old fans out there. Just think of the possible lineup LU could have had with sons of former players with Rashard Lewis and Kendrick Perkins.....
