The Silsbee Tigers continue their fight for a District 22-4A playoff as they travel to western Jefferson County to take on the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns tonight!  Micheal Nelson's Tigers, 4-5 in district play, defeated West Orange-Stark on Friday, 8-1.  Meanwhile, Jeremy Seymour's Longhorns, 4-4 in district, beat West Orange-Stark last Tuesday 17-5 and were last in action on Friday, a 7-0 loss to Carthage.

One of the better games Silsbee has played and we had to, our backs were against the wall. Good pitching, good defense, and good hitting. Still left six runners on base and one little error in the last inning. We can't afford to lose focus, not for one minute. Back at it tomorrow working out the kinks.
