bronco1 Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Gotta go with the home team but, it will be tough. Lots of football to play between now and then. I do expect Lumberton to be a bigger factor this year, they had lots of talent on that JV team last year and I think 12 starters returning. The competition is stiff in 22-4A once again, it'll be game of the week, every game and every matchup.
stevieray Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Gotta go with Dayton also. Good players returning and lot's of upcoming talent from what I hear.
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 We may not win District but i like our chances to make the postseason. Go Raiders!!
hj_hawk_60 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 im gonna have to go with Dayton as well... but i do think its going to be close...2nd place im thinking will be central... followed by lumberton/nederland/PNG in 3rd-5th...
Guest etbu Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Dayton and Nederland will fight for the top spot.
Guest Raider911 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Dayton and Nederland will fight it for the top spot. NO way Ned will be fighting with Dayton for the top spot lol maybe fighting for 5th or 6th. Ned consecutive playoff appearance's will end this year!
DP#1FAN Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Dayton-Well coached After that it is up for grabs for the playoffs. Nederland,Central,LCM and yes football fans Lumberton should start to wakeup this year. Dayton is in after that what a fight.
piratefan Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Dayton and Nederland will fight it for the top spot. I dont see it..Dayton and Central.     Ozen will be back also..too much talent sitting over there..
Bigdog Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 :Ned vs Dayton and Ned vs Central will be for the top spot.
Guest 87CRU79 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Look, Dayton and Central will fight for the top 2 spots. And as usual Lumberton and Vidor will batlle for the last place spot aka the Toilet Bowl...lol. Nederland will more than likely get the 3rd spot, there defense is much improved from last year and there offensive attack will supercede most defenses. LCM. PNG, and Ozen will batlle for 4th place.
bears99 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Dayton will more than likely win the district again with Central probably finishing in 2nd. The winner of the LCM - Nederland game will get the last playoff spot in my opinion. I dont see any of the other 4 teams in the district competing with the top 4 teams this year.
fbplayer999 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 NO way Ned will be fighting with Dayton for the top spot lol maybe fighting for 5th or 6th. Ned consecutive playoff appearance's will end this year!are u crazy?
GoDogs27 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 NO way Ned will be fighting with Dayton for the top spot lol maybe fighting for 5th or 6th. Ned consecutive playoff appearance's will end this year!I kind of like hearing this every year... Ive heard it for ten years now... its great to hear... I love when people have to eat their words year after year... lumberton and vidor fight for last place... :
PURPLE 4EVER Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Dayton will win district, but going undefeated again???That will be a huge accomplishment to go back to back without losing in that district, but it could happen...Dayton's team will be better than last years...Besides Lumberton, I don't see the other teams improving as much as Dayton.
piratefan Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Look, Dayton and Central will fight for the top 2 spots. And as usual Lumberton and Vidor will batlle for the last place spot aka the Toilet Bowl...lol. Nederland will more than likely get the 3rd spot, there defense is much improved from last year and there offensive attack will supercede most defenses. LCM. PNG, and Ozen will batlle for 4th place.there defensive has to improve ..they were embarrassing last year..when your that bad the only way is up..life without micah..yall better get ready!!
tvc184 Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 ..............Ned consecutive playoff appearance's will end this year!Nederland's 11 straight years might very well end this year. Will Lumberton's 40+ straight years end? :
Guest etbu Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 How did Nederland subvarsity teams do last year?
bronco1 Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 How did Nederland subvarsity teams do last year? They were big and pretty dang good.
piratefan Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 I know this..you have to bring your "A "game every friday night.alot of people talk about Lumberton and Vidor but ask Central and Nederland about Vidor.Central scored with 12 seconds left to win..Nederland got beat by Vidor and lumberton was in alot of there games. So you people who think these two teams will be a cake walk when yall play us keep thinking that. Â
Guest 87CRU79 Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Yall beat Nederland for what? The second time in 43 years. It's like the superbowl to yall. There was still 3 seconds left on the clock and yall bum-rushed the field. Vidor has no class. I've got an idea, act like you have won a game before.
Guest Pirate V Ball Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 Yes we have class!!!!!! Don't be mad we won! >
