Louisville beat Mississippi St. earlier today.  Mississippi St. is done.  Rice is leading UNC 11-4 at the top of the 6th.

Cal St. Fullerton and UC Irvine tied 4-4 in the top of the 8th in an elimination game.

Irvine wins 5-4 in the 13th in the longest game (timewise) in CWS history.

Was anyone watching the game?  What did you think of the guy that got hit in the 13th for Irvine?

i was watching the game but turned it off in the 12th because i had to leave. what a waste of 5 hours to not get to see the ending

North Carolina defeats Louisville 3-1. Louisville is eliminated and UNC will take on Rice tommorow at 1 pm. They will have to beat Rice twice which I dont see happening.

Arizona St. leads UC Irvine 7-5 in the bot. of the 8th. UC Irvine batting with bases loaded and no outs. 3 runs in this inning already. Wild game. I thought Arizona St. had this game in the bag for sure coming into this inning.

Rice trails 6-1 in the bot. of the 9th.  Looks like there will be another game tommorow . Looking like there is a chance that there could be a rematch of last years championship series between Oregon St. and UNC, but hopefully not.

The Owls were anemic today at the plate.  It was very disappointing.  Congrats to UNC for forcing a deciding game, lets hope the Owl bats wake up.
