BHFAN Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 I say the top three will be in the following order.CrosbyGalena ParkBarbers HillGringo, to try and answer your question after the first scrimmage this is what I think about BH.Strengths - Offense - QB is smart and has a good arm, 2 running backs to mix it up some, Offensive Line looks good.Deffense - JOE SEXTON, Defensive Line looks good.Weakness-Offense - Experiance, Backfield Speed, RecievingDefense - Secondary, Stopping a fast back around the corner. Now this is only my opinion! I think that everything will be alot better come district time and some of these weaknesses will disapear! BH Although playing 3A's in the preseason (Wharton, Jasper & Bellville) will be playing quality teams. Keep your eye on "The Hill" they are not going away just yet!
gringo Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Thank you BHFAN - good honest observation - Da Hill is always tuff !Oh, you forgot to put NC in your top 3 ;D.
BHFAN Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 Thank you BHFAN - good honest observation - Da Hill is always tuff !Oh, you forgot to put NC in your top 3 ;D.NC my be in the three spot and BH stays home Ya never know what's going to happen on Friday nights. Either way i think our district will be more competitive this year! There is going to be a lot of tight games and suprises! ;D
TradinUp BH Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 I read a Houston article that said Crosby was the pre-season pick for winning the district, but until someone knock BH off, I'm picking Barbers Hill. We play Crosby the second week of district, so I guess I'll see what they will have.BH, Crosby, Galena Park
