I also report that the weather was really crappy this past weekend.  However, I got a report from East Bay that the trout action is smokin'.  Don't know exactly where though, and it's a really big bay.

if i had to guess it would be over the middle reefs on plumtruse or pumkintruse bass assasins.  tell you  what i really like the the TTF stuff.  the trout killers and killer flats minnow's. I have been putting that killer flats minnow on a bass assassin spinner bait and it works good.

yeah the river is causing me to travel to find any decent saltwater.  I wonder if the upper trinity bay is gonna be fresh all summer. Of course that would be good for the duck hunting this season.

me and my boss went out the other night in the ship channel by pleasure island and caught 15 specks 1 red and 2 BIG flounders, he went 2 nights later and caught 3 limits, and then me and my buddy went to the north end of sabine lake and we caught 14 craoker, 6 gaftop, and a drum and we seen a couple small groups of birds but there was people allready fishing there pulling up trout... so saltwater fishing is preeety good!
