warfan Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 They won big against WH. First time they have had all the boys together this summer. Don't know the final but they were ahead by 41 in the 4th.
texasbasketballfan Posted June 20, 2007 Author Report Posted June 20, 2007 how did andrews and sims do
warfan Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Don't know their points, but we hit 11 3's. We hit 9 last Thursday against Woodville.
cma123 Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 How did Warren do against Spurger @ Woodville in Summer ball?
warfan Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Won 1 lost 1, Didn't have all our players. Whitaker (sp) had a great game against us.
Guest #1pantherfan Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Warren beat West Hardin by 21... not 41. I was watching that game waiting on Anuahac who was following. The final score was pretty close to something like 63-42. WH's Tyler Copeland had 36 of WH's 42. It looked like he was surrounded by a bunch of incoming freshman. Warren was the better team and shot the ball well as they usually do, but they didn't look like a team who's got a playoff spot locked up like they think they do. Anuahac will have something to say about that.
texasbasketballfan Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 well i dont know if you saw two players matt andrews and paul sims andrews had 27 and sims had like 20 then alot of other players had 10-15 so they are good
warriors#22 Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 this is matt andrews we on the team know we dont have anything locked up we know we are going to have to come out and work hard caus evrybody is going to be good

No one said Warren won by 41. They were ahead by 41 when they put their bench in. And no has said Warren has anything locked up. They have the potential to beat everyone in the district, we will just have to play the games to see if they have worked hard enough to win them.

WHBaseball14 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 yup. but tyler isnt goin 2 b the only good 1 on the team youve still got chew and fluff! lol!
warfan Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Great game tonight with Warren and Kountze at war. Went into overtime with Kountze winning 57 - 53. Gonna be a lotta fun come district.
Guest DickVitale Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 PLEASE STOP IT!! Its SUMMER league, don't get your hopes up!! Kountze will still beat Warren by 50 in December and January when it counts!! ...Lets be REALISTIC, PEOPLE!!
whsalum Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 PLEASE STOP IT!! Its SUMMER league, don't get your hopes up!! Kountze will still beat Warren by 50 in December and January when it counts!! ...Lets be REALISTIC, PEOPLE!! Somebody shake Dickie and wake him up before he makes a complete idiot out of himself.Your right it was a summer league game no big deal. But 50 come on now Dickie, Kountze graduated a lot of really good players, don't give em the title just yet.
Guest DickVitale Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Yeah but you are talking about Warren.....Warren...Not HJ....Not East Chambers....Warren....Like I said, BE REALISTIC...Summer league has absolutely no bearing on the regular season, as does 7 on 7 in football.....Kountze will beat Warren 10 times out of 10 during any season....maybe not by 50 EVERY time, but nevertheless they will beat Warren 10 times out of 10...Don't get angry, because I am not trying to stir the pot, but, just being realistic...
whsalum Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 I gonna have to disagree with ya on this one Dickie.Kountze has a great tradition but they are goona be down a little from last year.Lord they graduated 5 kids who went on to play college ball.E/C and Kountze will definitely be the pre season favorites this year but Warren returns several good ball players and will match up pretty well with most folks this year.I'm not baseing this on summer league games,I'm looking at returning starters for all the clubs.I honestly think there are gonna be several clubs next year in this district capable of beating each other.Just curious, how many games have you seen Warren play the last couple of years?
Guest DickVitale Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Well let's see, since they have NEVER made a trip to Austin, or the regional tournament AND they are 2A......How about, NONE...Case and point. But hey, maybe they are an up and coming team... :...maybe..I will give you that.
sum_1 Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Well let's see, since they have NEVER made a trip to Austin, or the regional tournament AND they are 2A......How about, NONE...Case and point. But hey, maybe they are an up and coming team... :...maybe..I will give you that.first of all kountze isnt gonna b that good next year.. warren is definitely going to compete with them!!!
Guest DickVitale Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Uh....no..One thing is for sure about Warren in 24-2A..They will have at least 4 losses in district play....2 to Kountze and 2 to East Chambers....Argue that? ..Good news, they still might get in the playoffs if they can beat everybody else...So there IS a bright side!
sum_1 Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 they can beat kountze, you obviously dont know what your are talking about.
Guest DickVitale Posted July 1, 2007 Report Posted July 1, 2007 Of course I know what I am talking about...Do you know WHO I AM?? I'm DICKIE V, BAAAAABY! ;D...Its good to support your team, but reality is reality....Warren will not beat Kountze or EC next season....Well, I will retract that...That's why they play the game, but if I were betting....I would not bet against Kountze when they play Warren...Is that better for you?
