Ok cool. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something else. Gotta stay up to date on the gossip on "As The SETX Board turns!"

Just a bunch a cry babies. I guess being honest, And being held to higher standard is not for them.

Easy killer! LCM is not a bunch of saints over there.

Never said that, LCM has had problems and still do. Nothing or no one is perfect. If LCM had to forfeit because they screwed up I would be all for it. Right is right and wrong is wrong. That’s just how I was raised and the way I raise my children. Look I know Bc wanted a DC in baseball but wouldn’t it be better to win a state championship? I’m just tired of hearing it. For the record I did some checking around and heard again that Griff did not turn them in. If anyone with ties to LCM message me and tell me if he did please. Or Griff personal me please..

Hate this situation occurred in yalls district, but really hate that it’s taking away from what I thought was a fantastic series between two pretty good teams. The kids on both teams here played well and with a lot of sportsmanship. Game 3 took 10 innings with both teams making some stellar defensive plays to keep their teams alive.

I’m Liberty all the way but would have thought just as highly for LCM had they Won. They seem to have good kids and hosted us well.

Believe me. I’m all for reporting infractions but what I’m not for is reporting late so it benefits your team. There are unwritten laws in baseball you don’t break and that is one. Have a nice day.

I understand, but the kids had nothing to do with all that BS. Ready to see y’all in football season .

I still don't see what all the hullabaloo is about.  Reality is BC apparently violated a rule and lost the DC to a pencil as punishment.

It tilted the playoff bracket somewhat, but if you want to represent Region 3 in the finals, you have to run the table on all the teams you play.

The order doesn't really matter in my eye.  I had hoped LCM and Silsbee would have advanced to keep alive the chance BC could play them again.

(HJ too....I haven't forgot about ya!)  So again in reality, LCM and Silsbee did not advance and the 2 best teams in the district did.

As a BC fan, I am pulling for them as they play their way through the bracket and will pull for HJ as well until we meet (goes w/o saying).

So lets put all the who, why, what ever about the rule violation to rest.  It don't matter, we (BC) are already down the road from that.  Lets pull for the district to have a loooong run in the playoffs!  Go Cards!

You did some checking around huh? I'm sure those LCM fans you checked with told you Griff didn't do it. He 100% did it. In fact he has now said "if I knew they was gonna get in trouble for it, I wouldn't have turned them in".

    • Very close game until the 2nd half (mostly the 4th) when Orangefield came unraveled. Worse defensive effort I have seen out of the Bobcats in three years. This team has to get back on D and quit getting beat over the top when pressing. Offensively, non ball handlers continually turn it over and their shot selection is poor. Basic basketball, such as: defensive hustle, boxing out, and taking care of the basketball are the areas the Bobcats need to work on most. Whitmire will get them on point, but he shouldn't have to coach effort at the Varsity Level.  We'll be at McnNeese this Friday night at 6pm.
    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an easy and obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
    • @CIS_org National Security Senior Fellow @BensmanTodd tells Steve Bannon how the U.S. State Department and USAID have been sending American taxpayer funds to religious nonprofits to facilitate mass immigration to our southern border. Bensman says 248 nonprofits are participating in the United Nations’ 2024 agenda to distribute $1.6 billion in cash, transportation, food, and shelter to U.S.-bound immigrants across Mexico and Latin America.
