Mid County Madness commences 1 more time before the end of the 2018-19 school year as the Nederland Bulldogs and Port Neches-Groves Indians meet up in Game 1 of this Class 5A Region III best of 3 Quarterfinal series!

Bryan Spell's Bulldogs, 21-5A runner ups, reached this round with a 2-1 (0-2, 5-3, 3-1) bi-district series win over Galveston Ball followed by a 2-0 (4-0, 3-0) area round series win over Angleton.

Scott Carter's Indians, 21-5A #3 seed, reached this round with 2-1 (1-2, 8-2, 6-0) bi-district series win over Friendswood followed by a 2-0 (4-0, 3-2) area round series win over Alvin Shadow Creek.

The winner of this series will face the winner of the Tomball/Magnolia West series.
