The Big Sandy Wildcats look to punch their return ticket to the Class 2A State Championship Tournament as they take on the Refugio Bobcats in Game 1 of this Region IV best of 3 Final tonight!

Jacob Hooker's Wildcats, 32-3 on the season, reached this round with a 2-0 (18-0, 17-0) bi-district series win over Mumford, a 8-3 area round win over Shiner, a 2-0 (4-1, 5-2) regional quarterfinal series win over Thorndale and a 3-1 series win over Mason.

The Bobcats, 26-1 on the season, reached this round with a 2-0 (15-0, 11-1) bi-district series win over Premont, a 2-0 (16-0, 1-0) area round series win over Sabinal, a 2-0 (9-0, 13-2) regional quarterfinal series win over Ben Bolt and a 2-0 (5-2, 6-3) regional semifinal series win over Evadale.
