For the Panthers to make it 5 in a row, Head Coach Chad Taylor will rely on seven offensive starters and six defensive starters in order to make a push to the top of 10-4A-II. Head Coach: Chad Taylor Assistant Coaches: Jesse Woods (Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line), Landon Hessler (Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Backs), Robb Kirkland (Tight Ends), Joe Slack (Running Backs), Nolan Lanham (Defensive Line), Martin Massey (Linebackers), Chase Sylvia (Defensive Backs) Offense: Seven starters return in 2019 to operate the Panther Double Wing offense. Stepping in to operate it will be sophomore quarterback Austin Walker. A lot of the rushing load will fall to sophomore running back John Harris-Hines and senior fullback Jordan Leday. Junior tight end Devin Fregia (1st team all-district) will figure heavily in the Panther passing game. He will also be counted on to contribute to an experienced offensive line which feature returning senior linemen Zac Kutack (1st team all-district), Chandler Sanders and Lane Lindley (2nd team all-district), as well as junior lineman Blaine Rick, sophomore lineman Seth Stearns and senior tight end John Thomas Jones. Defense: Six starters return to the 2019 Liberty 3-4 defense. The veteran defensive line will return Fregia at defensive end, senior defensive tackle Alex Pacheco and senior defensive end Ragis Fontenot. Also seeing time there will be junior tackle Wyatt Tulley and freshmen defensive end Titus Bell. Senior outside linebacker Joseph Sterling will return to lead a group which will include Walker at outside linebacker, junior inside linebacker John David Caruso and sophomore outside linebacker William Waldrip. Junior Vincent Harris and senior Elishia Chamber will anchor a Panther secondary which will feature sophomore Mason Goudreau. Special Teams: Senior Eric Espinosa will do both the place kicking and punting for Liberty while Harris will be the primary kick returner.
