hockeyfan Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 http://www.echl.com/cgi-bin/mpublic.cgi?action=show_news&cat=1&id=11341ANCHORAGE - The Alaska Aces announced that they will host the Texas Wildcatters in two preseason games at Sullivan Arena on Oct. 10 and 11 at 7:15 p.m. It is the first trip to Anchorage for the Wildcatters who will travel 4,558 miles from Beaumont. The Aces are one of only two teams to reach the conference finals three consecutive years and have lost to the eventual Kelly Cup champion three times in four years. The Wildcatters returned to the ice after missing the 2005-06 season as a result of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and reached the division finals after setting team records with 41 wins, 21 home wins and 20 road wins and improving 46 points from 2004-05.
