Gulf Coast Power Pro Wrestling hits the ring this Saturday

By Chad Cooper, Sports Editor

Gulf Coast Power Pro Wrestling returns to the National Guard Armory in Port Neches this Saturday, June 30 with a bell time at 8 p.m.

GCPPW was sold in late March and hasn't run since. "The new owner submitted an offer in January but we turned him down," said one of the previous owners, Curtis Stratton. "He then made a new offer in March and we couldn't pass this deal up."

Stratton said current GCPPW Commissioner Jeremy Long has been in several meetings with the new ownership and all current contracts would be honored for the remaining year.

"The new owner will be introduced this Saturday and I think our fans may be surprised," said Stratton. "All of our wrestlers were told to be there this Saturday so it should make for a great show."

Scheduled to appear are the FU Man Kru, Cowdog, Jared Steele, Chris James, Max Muscles and more.
