They played one heckuva game though! Next week during practice, they will learn from their mistakes! It is the first game though! Non-District doesn't really matter during this time!

Sounds like last year all over.  Got to learn how to win the close ones.  Losses like this will take the heart out of them.

Vidor took the lead with 2 min left 32-27 but lost on the last play of the game, short touchdown pass 33-32 final. Tough way to lose but we made way too many mistakes to deserve the win. Lots of big plays from Montgomery, mainly WR85. First downs were probably 25-10 in Vidors favor but we didn’t finish a couple of drives. Also missed an extra point and a couple of 2 point conversions. But we got out of there without any major injuries so it’s on to the bye week and then two games we should have a good chance to win before district play begins.

Yes he made 2, missed 1 extra point and a missed FG. And we also didn’t make two 2 point conversions.

Last year’s kicker transferred to Kelly for soccer. Current kicker has never played football til now.
